Apatow marketing

Pineapple Express will be the best film of 2008. There. I’ve said it. It’s not out for a couple of months but the website is at www.ridetheexpress.com. It shows how much producer Judd Apatow has really embraced the internet as a marketing tool: There’s a trailer, a “restricted” internet-only trailer, a hokey game, a link to the Facebook group and the myspace page. All that is left is the inevitable viral video to pop up on Funny or Die.
