Here’s an interesting new meshing of content type – interactive tv, online game and movie personalised to the user. The BBC launches FaceSpook – a online video viral tie-in to the popular UK MI-5 spy show, Spooks. Via technology from Oddcast which specialises in image and video mapping, viewers upload a photo of themselves, and the program reads and maps their face onto one of the characters in the story as it plays back

Dan Taylor’s Fabric of Folly blog suggests that viewer personalisations are becoming more and more common, followng such web curios as Dexter’s Ice Truck Killer campaign and the Facebook Bob Dylan app.
