Apple is introducing the MobileMe service which offers the “Exchange for the rest of us”, it allows users to stay up-to-date with their emails, calendar events, contacts and personal files anywhere and on different platforms. Users can access MobileMe on any computer which is internet connected and internet browser equipped. With ajax technology, it offers an experience close to using desktop applications, and with the Push technology, all users’ contents will be pushed to all the devices they are using, such as iphone, mac, and PC. Check out the WWDC 2008 keynote Video at 01:07:10 for introduction and demonstration of the service. Here is the web page for MobileMe. The service is priced at $99 per year for an individual user (20 GB) and $149 for a family pack.
