The Tipping Point – The Rest!

I finally finished the book this weekend.

The main take away is that small change is all that is needed to tweak an idea.

There are three types of people – Connectors, Mavens and Salesman – all important in spreading an idea.

The other main idea is that we don’t know how humans react and sometimes this happens in different ways. i.e. relying on gut feeling is not enough. The point of the book is to do market research and see what works. Most ideas are good just executed wrongly. It doesn’t cost a massive marketing campaign to get it right, you need to have the fundamentals in place.

A great read. I highly recommend, the big different between our ideas being massive!
